The Salzburg Open Air Museum is located on a 500,000 m² site in the middle of the Untersberg Nature Park near the city of Salzburg - divided into five areas:

The Salzburg Open-Air Museum documents rural building, living and business in the province of Salzburg from the 16th to the 20th century. There are 60 farms, houses, blacksmiths, sawmills, mills, barns and much more from all over the country on display. Several permanent and special exhibitions worth seeing and a variety of craft demonstrations make your visit an unforgettable experience and also offer visitors a cultural and leisure experience of great memorable value. A stop at the historic museum restaurant "Salettl" rounds off an eventful museum visit with local culinary delicacies. Children can let off steam in the adventure playground next to the Salettl.
