The train rides in July and August in good weather on its well-established round from the city center to the beach Seekirchen.

For over 115 years, the narrow-gauge railway has been meandering its way along the Salzach River and Hohe Tauern National Park, through a valley that looks like it was plucked from the pages of a picture book.

Enjoy a relaxed, stress-free ride on the Taurachbahn railway between Mauterndorf and St. Andrä.

The valley bus will take you to the Gruberalm in the Seidlwinkl Valley which is closed to general traffic.

In summer, no cars are allowed in the Pöllatal Nature Sanctuary.
