Regular services - TrolleybusSLB/Albus

In the city of Salzburg you mainly use trolleybuses to get from one part of the city to the other!

Environmentally friendly travel with public transport

Salzburg has an environmentally friendly bus system with electric trolleybuses and bus lines. Take advantage of the well-developed public transport system, because climate protection and good air quality are very important to us! Trolleybuses run every 10 minutes during the day, most bus lines run every 15 minutes. Every destination in the city is fast and easy to reach.

Tickets

All tickets are cheaper if you buy them in advance. Practically all tobacconists (kiosks) sell tickets for public transport. You can travel cheaply with a 24-hour ticket, which is valid as a network ticket throughout the city. If you are in the city for more than three days, it is worth buying a weekly ticket. All advance tickets must be validated in the vehicle on the first trip. Children from the age of six to the age of 14 travel at a reduced rate.

Nightlife

The night owls from Salzburg and surroundings are pleased about the attractive service offer of trolleybusSLB and the Salzburger Lokalbahn. "BusTaxi" and "Nachtstern" offer a carefree night life and make sure that you come safely home or to your hotel.

School and student cards

On presentation of a valid (international) student card, there are discounted admissions or tickets. Please state when booking that you have a student ID card.

ÖBB Postbuses and the S-Bahn

There are good and regular connections with the ÖBB Postbuses and the S-Bahn from Salzburg main station to the federal state of Salzburg and the surrounding area.

The prices depend on the place you want to go!
